Valentino Exhibition

I have had a mad busy week with a variety of events I have had to cover (which includes reporting from the O2 arena for the capital Jingle Bell Ball for two days for The Guestlist Network, and reporting from the Clothes Show in Birmingham yesterday), hence the week's gap in my blog post.

Last week I went along to Somerset House with fellow blogger Nina to check out the Valentino exhibition and I was bowled over. As a fashion design graduate I can totally appreciate the amount of work that goes into making clothing right from the pattern cutting to the details, and it was amazing to see everything up close!

There were so many dresses that I liked but for me I totally fell in love with the Valentino wedding dress worn by the Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece from 1995 (as seen above). Honestly I am not one of those girls that plan their wedding, it's really not my thing but I love this dress. I totally think that if you get married you have to only wear a Valentino wedding dress. It just looks so sophisticated, classy and chic.

Check out some more images below from the exhibition which I certainly recommend you all check out asap! Details on the event can be viewed here.

Unfortunately you are not allowed to take photographs in the exhibition hence why I haven't included any of my own.

So Stylista's have any of you gone to the exhibition. If so what did you all think? Leave your comments below.
