The Royal Wedding.... a Fashiontastic affair!

Its the wedding of the century and probably one of the best weddings we will see, yes the Royal wedding is finally here! I am normally not a fan of weddings but I have been extremely excited about this one, waiting eagerly to see who will what and most importantly what Kate Middleton will wear. Can you believe that it has finally happened! As I type this blog post I am watching the ceremony take place. I thought it would be fair to post up some of my favourite outfits worn by the guests at the wedding and of course a photo of Kate Middleton's McQueen dress that was designed by Sarah Burton.

Kate Middleton looks absolutely stunning in her lace gown, lace is going to become so popular I can just see brides to be asking for a lace wedding gown. I love that Kate has kept her hair and makeup natural and minimal allowing her beauty and amazing dress do the talking!

The rest of the royal family look like a family of fashionistas, one would think they have vogue magazines scattered around Buckingham palace. They were all on trend; with the Queen opting for a yellow outfit, Camilla Parker Bowles chose a Anna Valentine champagne silk dress, Philip Treacy hat and Jimmy Choo's!! Many of the family and other guests opted for Philip Treacy hats too.

Carol Middleton, the mother of the Bride opted for a Catherine Walker dress, whilst sister Pipa Middleton chose Alexander McQueen.

David Beckham looked like an excited school boy in his slick Ralph Lauren suit and top hat by Philip Treacy, whilst wife Victoria wore her own designs accessorised with a Philip Treacy hat and Christian Louboutin heels.

Guest wise though it has to be Samantha Cameron that steals the show in her trendy Burberry dress and statement necklace. I love that she has opted for the colour blocking trend!

So as you can see the Royal wedding was certainly a fashiontastic affair and looked like something out of a Disney movie!! Dreamy!!
