Musicalize took place on Friday night at Indigo2 and to celebrate their second birthday they secured no other than American R&B singer Ciara, and boy was it a night to remember.
To keep us entertained whilst we eagerly awaited for the singer to grace the stage we were treated to two amazing DJ sets as well as support acts from The Boxettes, Little Nikki, MO and Lady Leshurr.

The Boxettes were first on and mesmerised the crowd with their amazing performance. If you are not familiar with these ladies then I certainly recommend you check them out because they are not just another girl group. The all girl a cappella group combine beatboxing with unison singing and solo vocalising with all the sounds and 'instrumentation' provided by the group. The group covered Rudimental's Waiting All Night mixed with Destiny's Child Jumpin' Jumpin,' and like I said all the instrumental backing of these tracks was provided by The Boxettes vocal's, which left myself and the crowd amazed.

Little Nikki and then MO (as seen above) were next on stage to perform, followed by Lady Leshurr.

Lady Leshhurr, who has featured on tracks with Tinie Tempah, Wiley, Dot Rotten and Vince Kidd, as expected delivered a stand out performance and got us all in the mood for a DJ set by DJ KC and then of course the much awaited performance of the night, Ciara.

Dressed in an all red leather outfit, Ciara kicked of her performance by moonwalking on stage to Michael Jackson leading into one of my favourites 'Got Me Good' and her performance got better and better from there on. Everyone knows Ciara can dance and what I wanted to know was will her moves on stage match that of her moves in her music videos, well I am pleased to say yes they do.
Ciara was on stage for over an hour treating the crowd to performances that included 1,2 Step, Ride, Like a Boy, Love Sex Magic, Sorry, Body Party and of course her latest single I'm Out. Making sure to interact with the crowd throughout Ciara also hand picked 5 fans from the audience to come up on stage and show her their moves to Work leading to an amazing performance by her of Work.

Overall Ciara live is something else, she has such a energy around her that transferred to the crowd and it certainly was a night to remember and did not disappoint.
