A lot happened this weekend, I caught a cold, it was my Mom’s birthday on May 4^th and of course it was Cinco de Mayo, which I did nothing for (usually I do). I feel better today which is great, celebrated my Mom’s birthday on Sunday and relaxed most of the weekend. I wore this outfit to brunch at The Yellow Vase in Redondo Beach with my Mom and bf. It was a bit cloudy, so I grabbed a jacket on the way out but the sun eventually came out. This look is easy-going, but it’s posh and sophisticated. Let’s start with my blouse. It is a high-low blush button-up from Forever 21. I love the color, and when tucked in it fits nicely. I paired this top with a crisp white pair of Hollister shorts and added a red Steve Madden skinny belt, because a splash of red is needed for this neutral look. My accessories are the key to this look. My beautiful gifted Julie Vos Geneva necklace, peeking through under the collar, is a great statement. I wore my Michael Kors Blair watch, BCBG Generation Amor bracelet and my crystal cross alloy bracelet. So in love with this How Does She Do It striped bag in navy and white by Stella and Dot. Secretly I think my Mom wanted to steal it from me while we were at brunch! These Jessica Simpson heels are unique and the gold hardware ties in the look, here are a ton of choices. A touch of red lips with MAC lusterglass in Venetian topped it off. Wishing everyone a wonderful day!

I am not a big fan of see through tops, so this one does not get a very good rating with me. The top is just not flattering. Everything else I love. The shorts are amazing and I really like her bag today; it has a nice maritime theme to it. I noticed and like how she ties her lipstick in with her belt. We guys do notice this stuff. But above all I like her shoes the most. They have this Miami feel to them and most everything I see that has that feel to it, is off the charts sexy.
