Leopard and Speedy 25

We have been having strange weather this past week I can’t decide if I should wear a coat, rain jacket, or even a hat. Luckily, the skies cleared up and I can still be stylish while staying warm. Yesterdays post was all about Jewelry, amazing pieces gifted from Lucky Fabb see here. I want to show you this week outfits surrounding these pieces. Today I feature the Geneva vintage chain necklace from Julie Vos; it’s durable, chic and beautiful this knocks any other chain necklace out of the park, it stands out with the calming colors the rest of the outfit brings. I picked this cascading frilly cream top from Marshalls. The low empire waist is elastic, but it gives it shape and definition. I added a printed rouged leopard blazer from Forever 21 but there are great options here from Shopstyle. Hudson Collin skinny jeans are always great for tucking in boots; these are dark and fierce to match my boots. These boots are so unbelievably comfortable; they are from Forever 21 they are suede with leather with a gold buckle accent, but a similar ankle style from Asos. Lastly, my Speedy 25 Louis Vuitton purse, it does everything a purse should do. This outfit is easy but the accessories make it.

This outfit seems to have it all, but sometimes going thru a check list and making sure you have all your bases covered is not everything. She needs that something special and here the special aspect is lacking. There is not one item she has on that I dislike but then again there is nothing that stands out and grabs my attention either. In addition, this ensemble makes her appear shorter, when you pair a top like this which is loose and goes down to her thighs then you add more loose fabric on top of that it gives the illusion that her legs are shorter than they really are. Overall this outfit is just OK, she did very well with items she picked, but this is definitely items that should not all be combined.
